Wednesday could not come soon enough

I report this Wednesday to the Provo MTC. Actually me and the lovely Hermana Hanks report on Wednesday and we will take the same flight to SLC airport. She will be an amazing missionary. I'm grateful to be flying out with her. Maybe we will wear matching outfits like we did accidentally on the same day we took mission photos.

It's really strange for me to think that I will be a missionary in just a few days. I've dreamed of this opportunity for so long and it's finally here. I am so grateful to have a Prophet, President Thomas S. Monson on the earth today, who can receive divine revelation. The missionary age change announced in 2012 October General Conference changed lives. It certainly changed mine. Who would have guessed that I'd be a missionary right now? I certainly could not have seen this coming.

I want to serve a mission because I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. He has given me everything and I love Him. He said to Peter "If ye love me, feed my sheep." I love Him and I know that the right thing for me at this time in my life is to dedicate 18 months to feeding His sheep. I love my God and I love my Savior. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Christ's fully restored church on the earth today.  I am grateful to be able to return to the beautiful country of Denmark and serve the wonderful people there.

May God bless and watch after  all of you!

Much love, Sister Diana Briscoe
